A Media Access Control (MAC) address, also known as the Physical Address, is a unique hardware identifier for your specific computer. The MAC address is not the same as your computer's Host ID. While connected to a network, a lookup table relates your MAC address to your IP (Internet Protocol) address. You will need your computer's MAC for a floating (network) license when activating the license on server computer.
To determine your MAC (physical) address, you can use the Windows command prompt.
Note: If more than one MAC address is shown, use the address associated with your wired network (LAN interface). Do not use addresses associated with wireless routers, tunnel adapters, virtual adapters, etc.
